Actual feel varies with wind and rain, but the tips below should help you build a comfortable travel outfit.

• • 🌦 From September to December, heavy rain days are common, so mix in rainy-day-friendly plans such as cafés, spas, massages, and Hoi An old town walks.
• • 🍜 If you plan to try a lot of street food and local spots, bring some basic stomach medicine for peace of mind.
• • 💳 Cash, dong (₫), and cards are all used. Keep small cash for taxis/markets and use cards for larger payments.
• • 🚕 Use Grab or taxis to cut down walking in strong sun—it saves a lot of energy.
